PEM Travel Accommodations

Atrium Health Travel handles ONLY System accounts, so you must make your own flight and hotel reservations as needed.

Atrium Health presently has an agreement with Hampton Inn Uptown Charlotte, which is located very conveniently to Carolinas Medical Center. This number is 704-373-0917. When making reservations, please be sure to tell them you are with Carolinas Medical Center to get the discounted rate. The package includes room, breakfast, and transportation to Carolinas Medical Center for $84 + tax per night. While Hampton Inn does not have a restaurant available for the evening meal, there are numerous options within walking distance and uptown. The hotel also provides a complimentary shuttle service to places within a 5 mile radius (including Rock Bottom and Carolinas Medical Center) allowing you to explore the area without a car.

You may call the Crown Plaza at 1-800-762-1995, and ask for the Atrium Health Preferred Rate of $89.; we also recommend the Blake Hotel (555 S McDowell St, 704-372-4100), this is convenient both to the hospital and uptown Charlotte.

Other hotels are available at the airport or near I-77 that may be less expensive. Most of these hotels do not provide free shuttle service to and from the hospital, so please check this when making your reservations. These numbers are listed below:
